So I guess I'm just in the minority (at least, of those who posted an opinion) about John. But I think people are confusing a solid guest who can carry a show with someone who has the ability to toss out a couple of one-liners during an awkward call-in that was just overloaded with easy targets anyway.

So, maybe people like him. But in my opinion, he's no Jesse Joyce. Wait--I mean, he's no Pat Dixon.

Keith's line about the dusty vacuum being meta made me pee a little bit. And I actually gasped when I heard Adam. He is always an amazing guest. And then Kyle with some Neutral Milk Hotel at the end? Pushed it over the edge and I had to make my first post. Amazing, amazing show.

(The only thing that could have made it better is if Adam had been there at the beginning to say the prayer. Holla atcha Lord!)

I agree. He was funny, but only because of the magical powers of keith and chemda. on his own it was nothing but laughing at himself and saying yeah yeah

my favs are Patrice and all her glory , Jesse's stories, pat dixon over all, and adam brown all around.

No one's confusing nothing but you Todd, this guy's only crime was being bad for the first 5 minutes of the show. Luckily for us and him he was very funny and/or entertaining for the following 110 minutes and meshed in with the hosts and regular guests real well. Why the hell do you think the whole room was cracking up at him every 30 seconds?

And the guests never carry the show Todd, Keith does.
