Yes! Finally my terrible matchmaking gets me the attention I deserve. I hope someday Bravo or VH1 gives me a show of trying to fix people up and failing every time. I think that could be good TV.
And I'm with Chemda on thinking the 600+ pound woman should be investigated by Child Services, if she isn't already (and I doubt that she isn't). How could a child possibily learn healthy behavior from a mother like that? How could a mother possibly care for a small child properly (washing, feeding, exercising, medicating when necessary) when she weighs that much? |

What the fuck? Let's take kids away from disabled people, too. A blind woman won't be able to see if her kid is getting into things, and a deaf woman won't hear it cry, and someone in a wheelchair can't do any of those same things you list above. And don't get me started if they are missing an arm! |

Disabled people are disabled because of an accident or becuase they are born that way. With due help, they can raise kids properly.
A 600+ pound woman probably has some psychological issues (it cannot be ONLY a gland problem) that hamper her ability to take care of her kids. Not saying that this is the case, but an investigation wouldnt be so weird and far-fetched. I'm so sick of this mentality according to which, anyone who gives birth to a kid is entitled to raise them, wether they are able to do it or not. If there are signs that you couldnt be a good mother, you cannot keep or have kids. Parenting is a responsibility for responsible people. |

The state has no business making such distinctions. If you argue that a fat person should have her child taken away for no other reason than she isn't as ambulatory as other healthy adults, then you risk people with any disability having their children removed from their homes. The state has enough trouble helping kids who actually are endangered to deal with this nonsense. |
