The hat wasn't a Nazi hat but a biker hat?
What was the Nazi-like salute? the way bikers hail down other bikers? |

For one, he could sporting such things symbolically or to make a point. Secondly, at lot of times people will use symbols to make people thing one thing while the perpetrator is actually doing the other. For all the "God" George Bush and the other political idiots spouted, do you think they were really that interested in God or the eternal salvation of the constituents? I doubt it. But if one gives the illusion of God -- and in this ignorant country you can't touch anything that has "god" in it -- except Catholic priests -- then no one will check into it. This meant these jack-asses do what ever they wanted without anyone getting in the way -- and they did. I think Jesse James was more about stirring up shit than being a Nazi. But who knows -- maybe we should ask him. Have him on the show. |

Symbolic Actions In The Eyes (or Lies) Of The Beholder
Quote:
My guess is he may have been trying to make a point or just shock people. I like Jesse James but until you brought this up I didn't know about it. Suffices to say if he was trying to make a deep or clever point, he didn't do it very well where even a fan didn't get the message -- or that one was even sent. By the same token, my brother gave me a multi-colored clown wig, once, and I wore it in a picture. That doesn't mean I'm funny. And, if you didn't get the point of my wearing the wig in a picture, it doesn't mean you're stupid. The only thing we can really say about my wearing the wig in a picture is it means I put dumb shit on my head. I hope it didn't have lice in it. This is like people who go to church -- their going doesn't mean they are holy or good people, it only means we know where they were for an hour during the week -- at church (and that's what I tell my kids about people who talk about going to church). Get in line, buddy. Get in line. ox - mike BTW: As for the imbeciles who actually did try to take my kids away from me: I believe their actions amounted to merely symbolic gestures of their disapproval of my explaining their symbolic activities to my kids. Of course it cost Marji and me a lot of money (real, not symbolic) but in the end, four judges basically said they were wrong and that I am right (legally, not symbolically). Perhaps, to those whiny little idiots, their god could grant them some cancer (real, not symbolic) for being such self-righteous douche bags. And if their god did give them the cancer, I would pray for their souls (symbolically, not really -- actually, not at all. I'd probably giggle. Really.). |

I will believe he was making a deep and clever point about the state of things if he tell me what year Hitler died in.
I am trying to make a deep and clever point that Jesse James is stupid. |

Just so y'all know, I'm not condoning his pictures -- I'm merely not applying that much meaning to them. |
