What, telling people they're wrong? I do that a lot already. Or do you mean being harsh? Again, check. Quote:
If you're assuming that having a problem with Keith's knowledge of history rips all appeal of KATG out from under it, I am compelled to ask why you listen to the show. |

Bob, I gotta be honest like you were above. Do you listen to KATG for a history lesson or for the laughs? If it is for the laughs then it is so confounding that you would type a wall of text giving us a history lesson. Just like you, I stopped reading your post early on because who gives a shit.

Again, not whining about your educational information or correcting the factual inaccuracies, complaining about the nerdy angry tone that spews through your writing. It's sad to see really, even now, that you can't just admit that your tone was unnecessarily harsh. You're preaching more than you're educating, while desperately trying to hide your own flaws of being socially inapt.

Didn't say or assume that. I bet you love it by hating on the forums. Good job. |

I don't think listening to an entertainment podcast requires the suspension of all other brain functions. |

Well enough Bob. It just seemed odd to not listen to a show due to an incorrect historical fact that was a small portion of the show. Btw, you do not have to suspend brain function to ignore an inaccuracy, you just gave way more a shit than anyone else. The rest of us just looked over it.

Regardless, you were distinctly talking in a bloodline sense, and nationalities are not something transferred by blood, so you just talked yourself into a corner. And you look very stupid in that corner. Edit: for hilarity's sake, I'll add the Merriam-Webster definitions of nationality that are applicable. This first one, which is clear was your intended meaning, is not something transferable by blood. If you were culturally Polish, you would have said so by now: 5 a : a people having a common origin, tradition, and language and capable of forming or actually constituting a nation-state This second one is quite evidently about racial categorizations: b : an ethnic group constituting one element of a larger unit (as a nation) In the context of saying you are Polish because of your bloodline, you are using the latter definition. When I enjoy the show I say so, and when I don't I say so. Why aren't you off bitching at the people who say they like the shows? They're subjecting you to their pointless opinion just as much as I am. Last edited by Cretaceous Bob; 04-21-2010 at 12:06 PM. |

These topics are created for the discussion of each specific show. They're not supposed to be reaffirmations of enjoyment of the entire catalog of shows. Not liking this show means I didn't enjoy 1/1163rd of KATG. Oh man, break out the pitchforks. |
