I usually wear black socks when I wear jeans, but when wearing shorts, or if it's too warm, I'll wear ankle-less white socks. Also when I jog. Did I mention I jog?

I love Improv Everywhere. My favorite skit was the Abercrombie one, so I'm glad I got to hear about it. My second favorite was one that wasn't mentioned. They got a group of redheads to protest the Wendy's logo for being "racist". So funny!

I don't wear dress socks, I wouldn't know. I do know they come in white, though.

I've found the most comfortable socks are footjoy brand socks(at $6 to $8 a pair, they are designed for sport and can be purchased at any quality golf pro shop or found online), and all my black ones all match each other, too. And, unlike white socks, they don't stain or get gross looking. Their high quality means they don't wear out for years and years, lasting far longer than the best quality socks available at Nike stores, Target, all the usual places people typically buy socks.

Everyone should invest in a pair(they come in white as well), it feels like the first time you put on a new pair of shoes every time, as they never lose their fluffiness.

Keith's black socks, if I am not mistaken, are footjoys that I bought him a few years ago.

The rest of the show didn't live up to that opening but to be fair that's probably because over the last five years or so I've heard the guy tell those stories about a dozen times and they've lost their impact.

On the other hand, I mantain that - after listening to the "America Rules" opening half a dozen times - this show has the best opening salvo of any KATG ever. Motherfucker was on POINT!

Keith's response to the woman was a thing of perfection and greatness but the issue behind that white socks/black socks thing on the show seemed weird to me too. The only time to wear white socks and not look goofy is if you have shorts on and white shoes.

And the only time to wear white shoes and not look goofy is if you're working out (and then ankle-less socks are the best anyway, so even if they're white they're not visible). Keith was in public, not working out, so for that retarded cow to hassle his black socks was imbecilic.

In general, white socks with long pants or jeans, or if you're wearing white socks with non-white shoes, looks trashy as shit. At that point you might as well grow a fucking mullet and a paedo moustache.

i wear white socks whenever i run out of my other socks pre-laundry day, which are all dress socks with different colors and designs, or i just don't wear socks at all. no socks and dress shoes is nice in the summer.

Kudos to K&C. This was a masterful interview. It was a perfect mix of good questions that sounded conversational instead of question/answer/question/answer, etc.

They are REALLY getting good at interviewing people and that has been shown in several interviews of new guests in the past few months.
