Podshow on Howard Stern

Did anyone hear Howard Stern talking about podcasting on the show today? He and Robin went on and on about Adam Curry and Podshow. Howard told Gary that he wants to try and book Adam on the show to talk about podcasting. Keith and Chemda totally need to call in!

Why would you put your finger in someone's ass? That doesn't even make sense!

top-bottom showering isn't OCD or a weird ritual imo, it just makes sense. It's as Chemda said, the dirt comes down from the top, so you might as well wash it in order of gravity. I do it too, except I wash my face after my hair (because that makes gravitational sense). I wouldn't have any problems reversing the order, but then if you rinse off the soap from your legs, you have to re-rinse the legs as soap from the chest drips down.

Not using shampoo on your dick because "it will go in your dickhole" makes no sense. Soap can go into the dickhole just as well (I would imagine, I've never had either one go into my dickhole, and I've used shampoo on occasion when I ran out of soap). I think shampoo's just more expensive, and there's no need to maintain hair-balanced ph on your body, so why use shampoo?

FYI, by typing that message, you pressed more keys with your left hand than your right. You also typed "e" 6 times, but "a" only 4. Just saying.

HOW TO CURE SPARROW'S OCD

Have Sparrow shower IN FRONT of her mom and then force her NOT to do those turns and show her, "See, your mom's okay".

They were dish towels; my aunt's now dead mother-in-law embroidered them. The gift was a gesture, so I keep but don't use them. Nothing weird. It appears they affect you more than me, button.

Not for nothin', I don't think I need curing. I 'get' some of my thoughts, feelings, and actions are irrational. I identify them as such and move on with my day. Under normal circumstances, it doesn't bother me so much or the people in my life.

That's not weird, those are cute. Everyone has a 'tick' or something they do that someone else would think was strange.

Both my brother and I have OCD. I grew out of the worst of it, but it basically runs his life. He doesn't drive, have a job, and rarely ever leaves the house, and he's 40 still living with our parents. If his daily routine is disturbed, he gets sick. Really, the only thing I still do is count things, and feel I have to do things in multiples of four. Patterns in anything really stand out to me, and I'll stare like a retard looking at them making sure it doesn't break somewhere along the way.

It sucks, but it used to be worse. When I was a kid every time I flushed a toilet I had to spit in the exact center of the bowel. Sometimes I would stand there spitting for 10 minutes before my brain told me it was the middle.
