Glad Keith is turned on to rugby. Obviously, it's a different game than American Football so let's leave the comparisons out. But I hope that you'll help spread the gospel, especially when the 2011 World Cup airs.

I read the American articles about sunscreen causing skin cancer. They say only 39 of the 500 sunscreens on the market don't increase cancer rates. I then got the #1 recommended sunscreen. It's called Badger and I got it at REI. It was $14 (super pricey for the amount in my opinion) and is a bitch to get off, being super thick, but it works quite well (and this is coming from a girl who used to wear prescription sunscreen).
Hopefully I won't get cancer now |

to the homo washroom thing: as a 'mo, i stare straight at the ceiling when i'm in a washroom to make sure no one thinks i'm checkin' out their junk, but always very aware - esp at straight bars cause some people look punchy.

Earwax?
Long time listener, first time poster - FYSY!
It sucks to hear about all the ear problems you're having. My wife is a doctor and I'll ask her what she thinks but Wikipedia has a lot to say about earwax. I think the big thing is that you have to irrigate the ear 2-3 times per day for about a week before you'll see any improvement. It doesn't seem to matter what you use (water/soap/oil) as long as it's warm and non-toxic. Good luck, and hope y'all feel better! |

I think the worst part is that Keith has already been to a doctor and that hasnt helped.
Not a scientist but it could be that the canal produces a lot of wax because of some sort of irritation or infection. So going to a pricey specialist ( and medicine) seems the next step. But i'm not giving any more advice, it seems like we're jinxing the man. Let's all donate. If Keith becomes deaf he wont be able to hear a future new Tesla album! (although the show could gain a surrealistic layer of entertainment from a deaf host) |

not even remotely an expert on this, but I think they call it cancer anytime the cells fuck up and start doing weird shit. It's basically the way you to die if no outside agents (diseases/bacteria/viruses) get to you: your body just fails. So yeah, anything causes cancer.
As an aside, I wonder what'll happen after they cure cancer. Spontaneous combustion once you turn 200? Human head explosions? |

It's not exactly like anything causes cancer, i'd say it's more like everything we're surrounded with is so riddled with chemical stuff that lowers our defenses and starts the tumor spreading process, that it happens much more frequently.
In my hometown, three quarters of the male population born in the late forties has caught cancer and is either dead or recovering. Apparently they're noticing NOW, that there's an overload of toxic fumes in the air that was very intense in the 60's. Ana analysis of the town's water resources has also poiinted out that there was an amount of chemicals at least three times over the risk level. Thank god my generation dies of self destruction by drugs. |
