I really don't see how the NYC Dept of Education rules on sexting/cyberbullying can be enforced. They are overstepping their boundaries in a huge way to think they have any say over what a student does when not in school.
If my kids are ever the victim of cyberbullying, Ill simply make it a matter for the police. The Department of Education should stick to trying to educate kids. |

On the second point I'm half with you. Cops should be involved for anything that happens in school that involves a student's actions physically endangering other people. As for the verbal/cyber bullying, it depends what form it takes. If it's sticks and stones bullshit like calling each other ugly or gay then don't bother the cops with that malarky. A good dean or principal can dole out the discipline for that and have much more effect than a cop can. But if it's any kind of threat of physical violence then that's potentially a serious crime and I'd agree with you that calling the cops is a good idea. |

Dr. Neville Carmical 305 E. 55th St. 212-755-2575 He's been blowing and scraping wax out of my ears every two months or so for the past 12 years. Some of us need it done regularly. No suction, just a pretty intense stream of lukewarm water (the temperature is very important). Then some gentle scraping with some little coke-spoon type thing. Last time he told me to use Debrox the night before because my wax was harder than ever. When I was uninsured in '03 & '04, they would charge me $120 a visit. |

I always use a bobby-pin in my ears. They have soft rounded edges so it doesn't hurt like a pen cap or something. Some of them even have a wax or plastic coating. Also the round loop at the end allows you to hook and pull large chunks out. I do it myself when I don't think there is a lot in there but if I know there's a shit load I get my dad to help. He uses a flash light to zero in on the shit. Also a second perso can tell if they are going too far in. I hurts for a little while after because of the scraping also I have an allergy to metal so that makes it a little worse. In the end it's a small price to pay to have a free ear hole.
I know Keith hates my guts for posting this but I just had to. It's the only home remedy that I haven't heard for the problem and it's one that has been working for my family for generations! Fuck you too!
