You can go around your whole life believing that there are truly "bad" words... or that there are simply... words. Not all languages have "bad words"... why? Because they weren't stupid enough to take all the words that describe anger, frustration, and sex and classify them as bad. It's something we made up a couple hundred years ago when every one was trying to be proper... what bullshit!

Ever heard of the expression "sailor talk", it signifies that cussing is how "peasants" and "common people" talk and that not talking like these everyday people was a way of separating yourself and making your self more morally superior than other people which is disgusting!

For example, we were all perfectly happy resting our forearms on the table when we wanted to eat... this is called ergonomics. But then some asshole control-freak came around 300 or so years ago and said... we need manners. Don't put your elbows on the table! Knife goes on the left, salad fork on the right... and all sorts of other made up b.s! That's also what makes Mexican's the greatest people on earth when it comes to food... throw everything in a tortilla and fucking eat it... no dishes to clean... no bullshit... and it saves water and electricity, brilliant!... (and you can cuss or as I call it... talk to each other at the dinner table...)

When you tell people not to cuss your the one being the jerk, trying to control other people's behavior. I bet their ancestors were the ones who said...." Hey everybody, lets go kill those all those "savage" Indians and their children, but don't cuss while you kill them." ... forcing other people to your standard of right and wrong is not only ridiculous, it's an evil type of MORAL GREED!

Now, I'm not completely ridiculous myself either....I understand its one thing to curse for the express reason of offending people... and because we live in world of ridiculous baby people who get offended by words that we shouldn't have cussing everywhere... like in kindergarten for example... but I say anything pass 8:00 on t.v. is fair game.

What about losing free t.v., it currently cannot compete with cable or the internet because the FCC has gone like NAZI regime on them? Non-cable t.v. is like

news...infomercial... talk show...news... infomercial...last comic standing edited to shit....it's horrible!!!

Maybe there's like a bigger picture in fact we need to save free t.v.

I somehow doubt your timeline, I don't think curse words are 200 years old.

And if you're eating, I don't see why you need to have your elbows on the table. If you sit in the proper place, all you can comfortably get are forearms on the edge, otherwise you can't get your fork near the plate. If you put your elbows on the table, that means the plate's too far away from the edge and you're leaning over (bad posture, waste of space, and you can knock shit over with your elbows). Therefore, the catch-all that fixes all these problems: don't put your fucking elbows on the fucking table when eating. If you're having a convo after the meal, then that's different.

And why do we need to save free TV? You can get Fox News online now.

It is not about "having" to draw mohammed. It's about standing up against these extremist muslims unbelievably retarded believes. The fact that they want to decide what we can and cannot say or draw is out of this world, it's something that we should never ever give in to if we want keep our right to free speech.

Off course drawing Mohammed is ridiculous and it is a fuck you, but you have to say fuck you to those kind of believes. Yes the cartoonist shouldn't be surprised that he/she is getting threatened, but I don't think they ever were surprised by it.

The things you mention Keith, like pornography and dressing provocatively, are the reasons those extremist despise our society. But our free speech, when we use that to speak out about their religion, such as drawing mohammed, they react so directly. It's something even non-terrorist muslims are very passionate about.

And even though yes, when drawing Mohammed you're going out of your way to say fuck you, you need to show that we do not bow to their ridiculous believes.

I have no problems with believes, but I fucking hate religion. You should keep your believes to yourselfs, as long as nobody has to adapt to your believes then I'm a-okey with it. But religion almost always takes believes up a notch and does (or at least wants to) force people to adapt to their believes. And for this reason I believe those brave people should keep drawing mohammed, and keep saying FUCK YOU!
