I don't know if either of these were serious questions or failed attempts at being funny....if you were serious you're a dumbfuck and should at least think about a question before asking it....if you were trying to be funny...eh, you failed but sorry you had to get shit on for it.

Eitherway, automatics are easier to drive, they are more powerful than manual tranmissions, like Keith mentioned, they have smoother acceleration. They were invented to improve upon manual transmissions which like someone said earlier are a lot more affordable upfront, require more driver involvement, get better traction, a lot more affordable to maintain, and get better mileage.

Each has its pros and cons....I'd always go with automatic though cause I don't want to have to think while driving...lol

And the yellow lights...seriously? That's why I strongly feel you're joking.

This was particularly funny because after reading it and looking over at the person who posted it, I couldn't help but think about a proposed book by Stephen King, a sequel to The Shining where Danny (the little boy from the first one) is grown up and uses his powers to euthanise terminally ill patients. The name of this book is Doctor Sleep.

Now admittedly I don't know where you picked your forums name from, I'm sure there's lots of other similar references, just made me laugh that it was accompained with a post that basically said "I don't understand suffering"
