Damn it, see I already knew both of those things,

But here is whats weird, I Haven't watched star trek regularly since I was a kid and watched voyager, I was young and didn't understand half the stuff I just liked it beacuse "Ohh Space cool!"

(and don't want to start a nerd war because I don't know if it was you who hated it) But I loved the new star trek movie, gaping plot craters and all.

And i didnt start watching Dr.Who till the later half of the tennet run.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I know the Romulan thing from a freind of mine who is a huge star trek guy, I think that since so many nerds bring so much different knowledge about the various nerdy/geeky/dorky things they are into to the table and this is the stuff we are talking about (Because whats so interesting about cars, football, and girls anyway) all that knowledge just feeds into itself and grows, like some kind of Borg collective hive mind, or to make a reference I actually know something about, the Geth Legion from Mass Effect.

ok salute you for the mass effect tie in. I indeed hated that movie as why did my memories need to get raped by j.j abrams and then pissed on as he blow up vulcan for laughs. I was watching dr who back in 85 as a kid and took a while to warm up to the new show but like it all the same. And this convo is why ppl hate nerds/geeks F/Y/I

See, you can be a sports geek, but no body is going to call you a sports nerd.

They like to pretend that Fantasy football isn't just D&D for jocks, but it is lol.

BTW, have you ever heard of the book, the Rookie, by scott siggler? (he has been a guest on the show and you can get the audio book for free on itunes, its awesome and I am buying the sequel as soon as I can find it)
