She just won the right to know who they were so that they can just now "plan a defamation suit against the blogger." That suit is where freedom of speech comes in. Before, she couldn't bring such a suit because she didn't know who posted the remarks. Freedom of speech wasn't really at issue in this case, but more of a anonymity thing. The defamation suit is where it would come into play, the intricacies of which I do not know.

Freedom of speech is different from freedom of anonymity or privacy.

If your going to put out judgements about someone else do you really have the right not the be judged in turn?

This reminds me of that fucker Perez Hilton's mind set, where he can be neck deep in the drama of others but the moment some of his personal life gets out there he has to bitch and moan.

Seems like the second letter in the past week claiming that KATG saved their lives. That's nice. I like when children write in to tell Keith and Chemda how KATG helped them grow up.

I'm guessing that the offending word uttered by the Spanish teacher was coño, which I have heard used in much the same way as you would call a friend a fucker without malice.

Also, I don't know if this movie has gotten a shout out yet but anyone who is interested in the World Air Guitar Championships should check out "Air Guitar Nation," which is a documentary about the first year that the US participated in the Air Guitar Championship. You can also briefly see Christian Finnegan in this documentary as he emceed the NY semifinals that year.
