I'd totally watch the Cyborg Tranny Olympics.

Also, I love that cover to Keith's book.

I really like Matt B. He's a good dude just trying to be thoughtful and get the world right. Even if he's not always right, I see that kind of good hearted earnestness as a fucking spring breeze.

Also, am I the only one who thinks the track "What Have You Done" off that Shatner album is gorgeous?

I really dislike DST. Plus, Keith and Chemda (and most other people) always get it wrong by saying their show starts at 4 PM EST when it's July.

Bush showed again that he was a total asshole for extending it for reasons he doesn't understand other than he thinks that "more daylight" is a good thing. I think we should scrap it all together.

Matt's comments about golf and the Master's were incorrect. Women can play at the Augusta National golf course (home of the Master's) if they are invited by a member. (And lots of women have played as guests of members)

Women can play in the Master's golf tournament if they qualify. To qualify you have to win a PGA tour event or be top 30 of the previous years money list so only men have qualified so far. But if some girl decides to play on the PGA tour instead of the LPGA and wins a tournament they she would get an invite.

What Matt is probably referring to is that the Augusta National golf course has no women members. The 300 or so members are all men. Martha Burk of the National Council of Women's Organization protested this at the Masters a few years ago. Generally you have to be a rich CEO or a huge retired sports star who plays golf to be invited to join the club. (eg. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Jack Welch, Arnold Palmer, and Lynn Swan are members).

Well that's good, but I'd still say he didn't deserve it. He didn't do anything wrong legally, and nothing that someone else hasn't already done. If anything all it accomplished is adding fuel to the right vs. left pundit fire.

We all grow up

Look's like I'm going to have buy Keith's book. I always thought he was just a crybaby about his childhood growing up. I grew up in Appalachia also and until I was grown and moved to a major metro did I realize it's not common to move a fallen tree yourself. They have services for that type of stuff. What did I know.

Just off the top of my head. When I was 9 I had to change the tire on my Father's truck parked on the roadside while he sat inside. I've dug holes, although mine had to be rectangular. I still don't know why he made me wash the street. Really wash with soap water and scrub brushes. I can't really count the number of times I was choked in public. In some crazy way maybe he thought he was making a man out of me.

But in my father's defense, I never sold drugs or committed any crimes. I did try being a knucklehead but I already referenced the public choking and beating incidents. I have a college degree and a pretty good career. All in all I turned to be a good human being.

Now I'm interested and I'll purchase the book, I think just so I can see if I can one up Keith on anything. Otherwise, I would be a crybaby too.

oh yeah, get over it. You grew up so forgive on move on. Kids are stupid and we were all kids at one time.

So many creative punishments by parents. My mom just hit me whenever I acted up.

I can only assume you meant to say altogether.
