Whenever I find a phone I first look at all the pictures, then a few text messages and finally I go into the phone book and call the parents or the closest relatives listed and ask them to get in contact with their kid and let them know I have the phone and want to give it back.

I haven't finished listening to the episode yet, but it seems clear to me that Ray was targeted. Dane Cook probably stole the laptop to get some fresh jokes.

With any iPhone 4 you get free tracking functionality of your phone through http://me.com -- just log in with your Apple ID. I can track the GPS location of my phone, send a message to it (with out without an annoying noise), lock the phone, change the passcode of the phone, or if I just can't get my phone back, I can WIPE the whole phone. All from http://me.com

The functionality is available on iPhone 3gs too, but it is not free. You need a Mobile Me account. But with iPhone 4 you get the "Find My iPhone" feature for free...

I wonder if the 100 Bear Scratches that were sold include the free one you got for ordering. So they really only sold 50, but counted the 50 free ones to pad their stats.

When they were talking about this dude and his get rich/famous plans, it reminded me of some of the stories in Keith's book about his dad's big ideas. Anyone want to go on a scavenger hunt in Sumerset?
