I wonder if all the people voting for Keith and Chemda being bullies also thought the same thing about their parents when they got grounded for cursing when they know they're not supposed to.

That's not a good comparison.

Would you mind telling me why? Because your statement holds no value unless you have some actual reasoning behind it.

Your mother is a donkey molester.

Yeah, doesn't really hold, does it?

Myka is not a child, and K&C aren't her parents.

I haven't listened to this episode just yet. I'll throw it on as I watch the dunk contest tonight.

It's called an analogy, learn how it works. Or at least have the decency to see the point behind the words, rather than just the words. Arguing semantics is something you do in a high school English course, not in an actual conversation with (hopefully) intelligent people. Or, when you don't actually have a point, but want to undermine somebody's statement based simply on personal conflicting opinion.

You're seeming to be most definitely the latter, because you're arguing against something in which you have no context to base it. It'd be like a Green Bay fan debasing and arguing against somebody's statement that the Steelers won the Super Bowl, and they were too indignant to realize the conversation was about two years ago.

This is a bad analogy because familial constructs can't be compared to a podcaster-audience relationship. Now shut the fuck up.

The people who think Keith and Chemda were being bullies are either such fucking pussies that they can't recognize someone standing up for themselves without thinking the person is being ~~so agressive~~, or are fucking bullies themselves and can't see where Keith and Chemda are coming from, that enough is e-fucking-nough.

I think you're taking it a bit too literally. It's not a great analogy, but the meat of it is that often when people are called out on something, or punished for their actions, they often feel like the other party is being unreasonable or a bully.

Ah, you're one of those people. Sorry to tell you, this isn't the debate club, so you'll have a hard time dealing with how people operate here.

Again, no one but you cares that you want to debate with them over their opinions. But feel free to spin your wheels until you burn out.

There are two kinds of analogies: great ones, and bad ones.

If you think backing up your opinions is only something you do in debate club, I feel sorry for whatever thoughts mull around in your head. I wasn't aware it was a vice to have reasoning behind your decisions, and to voice those so others can understand whatever the fuck you're thinking.

I'm not trying to prove people wrong, and I'm not arguing against them. I want to to know why they think that way, so maybe I can get at least the smallest inkling of why in the world those words came out of their mouthes. They might have a point, but I have no fucking clue what that is until they tell me why or what fuels it, and so their opinions are useless. What makes you think they can't change my mind if they actually have good reasoning behind it? If anything, you're the one making yourself out to be a stubborn egoist that can't handle the idea of somehow having a falsely-based opinion.
