As a token gay, I think the gay lisp is totally an accent acquired from exposure. for example, few years back i was on a school trip in London, while there i was noticing kids slipping into an English accent every here and again. The most surreal part is when you find yourself doing it too. And we were only there for a week. I think gay guys who hang out with other gay guys subconsciously start to incorporate sayings and ways of talking as a way joining "the herd". I don't hang out with too many gays so i seldom speak that way, yet when i am around them i will let my gay come out a little more. And yes you could control it if you wanted to. But I have to control it, implying that it is something natural.
Some people are straight are naturally inclined to lisp too, take Al Gore or Joe Simpson for example. They have a very effeminate tone to them, and for all we know eat rug. damn shame i cant think of any more examples though lol |

the gay guys i know that usee that voice (which is not all of them), put that on in public or the first time they approached me. after knowing them for a bit, they stopped and resumed only when they were in public situations.
i dunno if that means its a put-on or a coincidence but i havent met any gay who had it all the time. |

THis is just an act, especially put on by gay men who want to impress straight men with incite in order to bed them later. Its part of the vast gay conspiracy to take over the straight world and make us all love the cock.

its like when jews sound annoying to make people hate them so they can develop their obscure plans against gentiles. or rednecks sounding ignorant! Its all coming together now. anyway, the situation had zero comedy timing but the jokes were badly written. i dont think they wouldve been that much funnier even if a pro did them. they all sounded like they needed to be explained. ADD: in the end having him deliver half arsed jokes kinda turned into some weird meta moment with him actually embarassing himself more than any roaster could embarass him. I saw a commercial for Miracle Whip that was The Situation talking about how much he hated Miracle Whip. If he's being used to sell a product based on his lack of endorsement for said product than he's gotta be on the way out, right?

btw, i cant stop thinking how a charlie sheen live show would be fun but also frightening somehow. not cause of him, but because there has to be a percentage of the people who go see him who's some sort of psycho who worship his new pčersona and know his quotes by heart.
Imagine a bunch of people made up like him that shout WINNIIIIIING, DUH, AND TIGER BLOOD in unison. and no, its not awesome. PS: i would do it at a myq/micah show though. they rock! (and they have cool singin voices) Last edited by Junkenstein; 03-17-2011 at 03:53 PM. |
