I'm not trying to get you to make your point, I'm trying to get you to think about it. Being disgusted and saddened by the prostitution you've seen doesn't actually have anything to do with legalisation. You want it gone altogether. But that's not going to happen Junk. So we need to make the best with what we've got. If you accept prostitution will exist regardless of legality then you surely have to move on and consider if it's better to be legal or illegal? That's why I was asking the questions.

And for the record the people that started the ball rolling towards legalising prostitution here in New Zealand were: the NZPC (New Zealand Prostitutes Collective), academics, women's groups (New Zealand Federation of Business and Professional Women, National Council of Women, YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association)), and the AIDS Foundation.

I think it should be legal. At the end of the day if two consenting adults are making an economic transaction with each other government should have no place in that. (I'm a really small government guy, I'm for legalizing almost anything, drugs, prostitutes, guns, ect)

and what I think

Being that we live in a modern age after 3 waves of feminism fought for equal rights of women in this country, a noble cause that I fully support and admire, combined with the shear pleasure that is derived from sex for booth parties so long as they are consenting, also added to the fact that we live in a more liberal and open society that is not as repressed and ashamed of natural urges as days of old then one could deduce that by the age when one would attend college most women (+50% at least) have already experienced intercourse in their lifetimes

In other words...Sex feels good, people have sex all the time, most girls my age have already had sex and I feel shitty about it and disappointed that I'm about 7 years and counting late to the party but I got no choice but to accept it.

I have given up looking for a virgin girl because that is like finding a needle in a...town at my age. Now I really really don't want to get into this here I'm just trying to clear up that I do not think all women are whores,
