Can someone clarify what an OTB is? Not sure if I just missed something or it's more of an American expression.

OTB = Off Track Betting. A place to gamble on all manner of things. Seedy places, seedy people.

And Keith is right : when I first used Dropbox I DID have the same probs as BJason. A drag only moves folders. "Copy" does not work. To get files on desktop you need to download the file or folders. <edit - this copy/move action is 'fixed' now but used to be clunky)

I'd say BJason was simply playing with files. But who knows what desperate measures poetry can make an honest man do?

Ah, thanks Tech! They're called TAB's in Australia but still pretty seedy.

Thank you. I don't know why they talked over it. I'm sure you heard that that flustered me and made me a little off. But I meant every word.

You can't read Word docs without Word. Although, you can download OpenOffice, which is an open source program that allows you to view Word docs. Ok, I take it back, you can read Word docs without Word, if you're desperate enough to search for a loophole, and I don't think B.Jason is.

you can open word documents with wordpad, the text editor that comes with windows.
Just tried it, I have windows 7, .docx files opened fine, .doc files opened with lots of gibberish in the file, but it's still easy to find the text.

that line just bothers me, I think he got caught and tried to make something up to cover up.

Too Clever

Word files are easily opened on Google Docs. As Keith described it, I can't imagine going into the Catherine folder for anything other than being nosy. There sounds like there were plenty of other folders to play with if B. Jason was "experimenting" or "playing" with file sizes.
