I don't want to seem like an uppidy douche, but I taste everything before I give it to my kid. I ate a rotten hamburger when I was little and got food poisoning. My mom wouldn't listen to me when I told her it was gross. She kept telling me to just eat it. It only seems logical to try what they're eating, because they don't know what it's supposed to taste like. It's a responsibility and perk of being a parent.

The Mississippi poll was of registered Republicans. That said, maybe most people in MS are registered Republicans -- I don't know.

It's funny; when you said "people should just stick with their own" - that's exactly what the proponents of gay marriage are asking for!

So in Mississippi marrying outside your race is bad, but so is marrying inside your gender? I guess the "stick with your own" only goes so far.
