Gambling in my state is fucking ridiculous. The casinos here are the equivalent of Starbucks in Seattle: one on every corner. There's machines in the airport, the gas stations, the restaurants, and of course: the Indian Reservations. There are 6 large Indian Reservations. I forgot to mention that if you stick $5 bucks in a machine/ you get a FREE mixed drink or pint of beer (standard everywhere) so everywhere you go; there's a poor bastard (white or Native Indian) spare changing outside. It's fucking annoying. The poker games that are held can be fun, but most held around town are full of shady ass people you don't want to run into outside on the street...if you've won.
My town is a collection of pawn shops and casinos. Pathetic! On a positive: one can make a bit of extra loot buying up cheap shit here and putting it on eBay. I've also managed to buy a $2,300.00 Mtn Bike for $150... Thank you bad gambling habits in college town!

Chemda talked recently about 'interracial marriage' which made me think of something horrible and of interest that happened recently.
I live in Montana. My good friend Kevaughn or K, moved out here from Brooklyn. He's dark as shit. His wife, also from NY, is Russian and white as shit.
Now, in my mind, interracial marriage is the ultimate evolution. Your taking the best that each race has to offer (physically or whatever) and putting them together. Being Dutch Irish(white as shit) I can't help but wonder why poeple are white at all: I burn ESPECIALLY in winter when the sun's rays bounce off white snow, etc. It's dumb...white skin. Prollly get skin cancer here very soon.
Anyway. K and Anna have a beautiful daughter, now 5 yrs old. Natasha is not super dark nor is she white. She's this great chocolate color, think: Halle Berry. She's a darling little girl.
So what's the problem?
Montana is literally 99.9% white. We live in Missoula, which is a little liberal bubble. Everyone likes K and Anna. The only thing remotely 'racist' that has happened has been that all the white girls wanna fuck K(if you call that racist- he's like 1 of 3 brothers here) AND when Anna would carry baby Natasha around by herself, strangers thougth she was the 'Nanny.'
The other day Anna was very upset. She said Natasha has suddenly been very odd. She's convinced there is a problem w/ her skin. She wants her mom to 'wash it' and make it white! I was perplexed. What little white kid is getting their head smashed in - who would make her think this way?
Anna replied that Natasha came up w/ this by herself. ALL THE CHILDREN ARE WHITE. Natasha, who is both black and white can't fathom why she is different. It really, really bothers her.
No matter how well society develops, interracial marriage is embraced, there will still be obstacles to over come.

Gambling is a huge problem in Australia. There are literally slot machines (or "pokies" as they are known here) in 99.9% of pubs here. I've lost count of the number of venues that no longer have live music or other events on, because they instead decided to extend their pokie room. I've seen people take their whole paycheck and put it in the machine and be out the door in 10 minutes emptyhanded. Most pokie rooms also have food served all day. You can go in there and eat for free all day because it's a way of getting you not to leave, and just stay and feed money into the machine. It's just too easy to gamble here. But the government gets such a massive amount of revenue from poker machines that they're not about to introduce any additional legislation to help the situation improve.

I see it here in the States as well.
If you look in psychology texts it is shown that the 'reward system' of blinking lights and the fact that even if you 'hit' once, even for a fraction of what you put in, you KEEP PLAYING! It's sick.
Noone is immune either. There is an awful progression w/ those pokies.

What else would these dullards spend money on? It would just be drugs, alcohol, or some other bullshit. Just give money to the feds and let them hand it around.
