I voted crass. I think crass is too strong a word, but I think it's wrong to celebrate. After the towers fell I saw Arabs celebrating. How do you think it made me feel? I am someone who lost people I loved, someone who saw the events unfold, someone that escaped the rubble.
I thought it was crass and insensitive. Human beings have the capability for empathy. USE IT! We can believe that the correct actions were taken without celebrating in the street. We don't need to add fuel to the fire. We should be confident in our actions without showing others up. Do you think others look foolish when celebrating a death? Well guess what, we look foolish too. I'm sure some will attack me on this, so attack away... |
