some of them are just random, but the Alex Jones NWO bunch, is pretty organized and with guidelines. If you listen to his shows or watch his documentaries, he has a bunch of main points he pushes by using the same tactics athat religious extremists use to rpomote their ideas. Lots of shouting, simple sentences repeated over and over, diagrams that have no substance but are really pretty to look at, "insiders" and "witnesses" that say a lot of very vague stuff or point out the obvious, easy targets (always the banks, since everyone hates banks), no constructive ideas....

Alex Jones even struts as a fundamentalist preahcers, talking about how "the empire will end" and "their time is coming".

I think some conspiracy theorists, like the ones that brag about a fake moon landing, are regarded as nuts by them too. But this "Illuminati" bunch looks like a cult with a lot of overheatedf and overzealous members and a leader (Jones) that gets popularity and money by exploting that.

Thats exactly how potentially dangerous groups start.

i think theres a whole bunch of actual researchers that have valid points about the inside job theory. still most of their points get misused by rambling morons, severly diminishing their values.

its like Noam Chomsky to make a larger example. Man's a genius, yet he has become the voice of the Self-Hating american movement and i cant really listen to him anymore

I take the "herding cats" theory when it comes to grand conspiracies. I fully believe that small groups of people are able to achieve evil things, but the bigger the group gets the less likely it is to stay secretive, and the less likely it is to be successful because someone is going to fuck up. So I do not believe that we would be able to secretly install enough explosives to blow up a building without being noticed by its 10,000 workers. I just can't buy it; I'm sorry. Someone would see something.

But I do believe that we had enough intelligence to know in advance that bin Laden was going to attack our country using planes and did not do enough to stop it. That I believe. And I also believe that we callously used the 9/11 attacks as a pretense to invade and occupy a country that had nothing to do with it.

Yes, because they posit the theory that the buildings were demolished by controlled explosives.

It's also funny that they keep quoting Arthur Conan Doyle, who insisted that Harry Houdini had supernatural powers.
