I'd say Portal 2 is pretty hard. Much harder than the first anyway, since they don't really have to easy you into the whole portal shooting mechanic.

I managed to beat the first without looking on youtube, with the second I had to "cheat" twice. Both seemed very obvious when you do know the answer, but I guess that's why it's so fun when you do manage to solve things on your own.

I "cheat" all the time. Portal 2 IS difficult. But I don't think cheating takes all the fun away. Not to me though
