I heart happy

Laughter rules. It's infectious. Laugh on, brothers. And hey, doesn't Lucas suffer from depression? Hearing HIM laugh is extra great.

Wanna hear annoying laughter on a podcast, download an episode of the 40 Year Old Boy. I like the host so I tried to listen but his "producer" laughs through the whole show as if she thinks rainbows are shooting out of his ass at every point. I made it through 2 episodes before I gave the hell up. That was definitely annoying. Background laughter I've heard on KaTG has been inconsequential in comparison. I don't even know that I noticed much.

I think that the laughter is fine. Its genuine and doesnt sound forced at all. Its not like Keith or Chemda told them to be their laugh track so that listeners would know when to laugh. They're laughing because someone said something funny.

That said, I knew listening to the episode that it was going to be a thing because some people got to find a problem in everything.

Their laughter is genuine, its not like its Jackie Martling on Howard Stern, laughing at his own jokes he just wrote. Its only when the Lucas and Julio are in and its something funny do they laugh....

And some people got to pretend there ain't ever any problems. What a crazy world. Full of people and not-problems.

and yet im sure that if ever it was brought up, as a question, that guests on the couch have been asked to restrain from laughing too loudly, that would be an issue too.

It would be a weird request. And as much as I have hated the recent laughing, I would never think that would be the solution. But how would we know it happened? A loud laugh followed by a loud apology?

not that weird. it wont happen but there are shows i heard where during a backstage or some random comment a host asked people who werent guests to refrain from commenting or making noises that could be distracting.

i think contrarians will be contrarians (their name would be haters, if the topic was any other one)
