I can't decide who was a better guest, Leah or Keith's beard.

Either way she was adorable and thoroughly enjoyable to listen to.

Leah was awesome both at bingo and on the show. Her friend Evan was supposed to come hang out in Philly a few weeks ago though. Never heard from her.. oh wells.

As far as Lars Von Trier.. the guy is fucking insane. He always has been. There are interviews of Nicole Kidman where she talks about working with him on Dogville and she basically says hes batshit crazy. Most emotion I've ever seen from that robot alien..

Keith, don't even try to watch a Lars Von Trier film. I guarantee you will hate every single one of them.

He's worse than insane, hes a hateful man who thinks he's a god and likes to irritate people only out of some weird self absorbed artsiness.

all i can give him, is that, even if his moives are a chore, he can shoot beautiful scenes sometimes.

but every time i tried to watch his stuff i ended up HATING it, not even out of boredom, more out of disgust on how snarkym pretentious and openly spiteful he is.

and his fans are usually that type of snobby movie dorks who love to say "you dont get it" or "Antichrist was so beautiful and confrontational, theres a double castration in it. thats ART, ignorant"

i will have a party the day he gets finally shot in his fat, stupid danish head. and i hope his fans all die.

I just read the description of Antichrist. This guy has serious sexual issues, IMO. Really fucked up sexuality in every single one of his movies. It cannot be a coincidence.

I tried to watch Dogville but couldn't get past the pretentiousness of filming a movie on a stage like it's a play.

i think you are a bit more angry than necessary but i do agree with this.

i work with a film production/promotion company.. i deal with those people all the time. his hardcore fans are like that.. the more pedestrian ones are fine.

thats actually my favorite of his.. that and Breaking The Waves.

Antichrist was pure shit though.. i still have no idea how that is so well received. its all the worst parts of art house cinema.

probably but also people who handled him when hes not in movie mode, say he's a very calm and understated person. i think he just expresses mysoginy and hatred in movies as a catharsis.

plus he is very good technically, like SERIOUSLY good ("breaking the waves" is insane to look at on a cinematography level) but he also happens to be notoriously self absorbed and spiteful. and to have a fanbase which reputes him a genius, especially because he is a hideous man.

theres a lot of controversial directors in central europe but none of them is as spiteful as he is in public appearances.

The rapture was true. I just spent the last few hours helping my parents with gardening. Hell on earth, indeed

EDIT: Also, I love Mark Normand

"On Air" my ass

The "On Air" button is still shining, luring me in, but there's no show. What the heck? Was Keith sucked up into the heavens?
