I'm curious. do you never masturbate or have dreams of a sexual nature? I started to deal with low testosterone a year or so ago. It seemed much of my interest in other aspects of life diminished. I now call androgel my "give a shit" medicine.

i already found a diminished sex drive because of meds nightmarish, so i cant conceive asexuality.
i believe it exists, for cases like yours where a traumatic experience nulls the sex drive, but i also tend to think that sex drive can and has to be restored. the diea of aswexuality seems like not finding the right person or the right flow and labeling it as something impossible. like female inability to reach orgasms (which i stil do not believe is as diffused as some say it is) i just find the idea of not having a sex drive like not being hungry or needing air to breathe.

However if this does happen (and I do hope it does, I would love to experience, if I ever can, a relationship) my fear would be how we would be able to satisfy the other partner's needs and they will go elsewhere to be satisfied sexually. I can do the sexual acts, I'm just not aroused by them, so I would see myself being a disappointment as I know most partners get off getting their partner off. Especially if I end up with a male; this is a big thing for them (no offense if anyone is by that comment). If I am lucky I'll find someone who'll take me for me. As for kids; physically I have no idea if I'm able to convince due to the ovary thing. As of right now, no... But if I ever would want kids I know I have many options. Quote:
Thanks for the testosterone mention, next doctor visit I will bring it up to the doctor. Quote:

That is also another possibility. With a traumatic childhood and now a recent mental diagnosis it could be hurting more than helping the arousal problem. But, I was never aroused to begin with in youth when my friends around me were. Definitely something to discuss with my new medical team.
