Listening now. Welll, cmon, why the hate?
I know y'all love to be hypercritical but he just sounds a bit awkward and tense. Worst guest? really? Cmon. I know the forums are usually hypercritical but, as i said in other occasions, to me a bad guest is someone like Marina, who has disdain towards the show or the hosts. This guy just sounds insecure. |

Marty's stories were interesting, but his weird uncomfortable laugh was...well...uncomfortable.
As for Jeter, he was the 28th player to reach the 3000 hit plateau. All but 3 are in the baseball Hall of Fame and one is Pete Rose due to his indiscretions. Think of it this way, a player that gets 200 hits in a season is generally considered to have had a pretty good season. You need to do that for 15 consecutive years in order to get to 3000 hits. As you get into your 30s, that gets tougher and tougher to do. 3000 hits in a MLB career is worth celebrating. As for Lou Gehrig, he probably would have made it. He finished his 16th season with 2,721 hits. He probably would have made it to 3000 if he didn't get sick and die. P.S. Fuck the Yankees! |

I don't really know how KATG works behind the scenes, but maybe they can better inform guests who write about normally taboo subjects, so they don't sound like they're caught off-guard by the type of interviewing KATG do. Maybe KATG already do that, and it's just the guests don't read the emails, but so far it's happened 2 out of 2 times (the shit book guy and Beckerman)

Was catching up on some news while listening to Keith talk about his ear problem coming back. The lakes around here will definitely make fungus grow in your ears.
Bacteria, algae close 3 Madison beaches Also, I had no idea there was a "memorial" for the dead geese that were recently killed (they tried to argue that the goose shit was polluting the water, but we've had algae problems here for decades). And they turned the geese into burgers to feed to homeless people. Madison is a very odd town. Last edited by Blitzgal; 07-15-2011 at 07:56 AM. |
