Also I sat all day drawing and listening to Keith's audio book. A++! I have to listen to the first couple of chapters again just cause I still can't believe how he was raised.

so here i am, having this shitty friday night. i'm almost broke, not playing any music this week, eating off the burger king dollar menu and my friends are out of town. i was feeling pretty low, but then i put this killer episode on and it picked me right up! hearing y'all's reaction to (and all the listener feedback from) that awkward show the day before was solid gold. i love when patrice is on the show, and to top it all off the track from clowned by the girl had me in stitches. anyway, thanks for making my bad night better.

had a freind who was obsessed with the new york dolls, i think they were also the inspiration for Sex Pistols (as in Malcolm Mclaren formed the Pistols after seeing one of their shows).

they were a bunch of junkies form the early 70's with no talent, no money, nothing. no hits, they just played at the CBGB for other junkies. they have historical value, i guess.

half the band died of an overdose , so the thing that opens for Crue is all new members.

ADD: one of the most hilarious things the punk nerds love to tell is how New York Dolls were cosigned with debuting Aerosmith by thge same guys and were comepting as the "next big thing". Aerosmith became Aerosmith. The Dolls all died of weird heroin related diseases.

the only talented guy is the singer who went doing blues traditional for a while but suddenly deided milking traditions he doesnt really care got him more money
