Does everyone really just put everything on their credit cards and spend months paying it off, hoping for the best? A 700$ HD set? You're paying more than that in finance charges. Why not save up the 900$ you'll spend anyway and get the better ting? Or get something else with the saved interest? Or *gasp* put it in the bank?...

I didn't know it was a "game". I don't make payment on anything. How about you just buy what you can afford, or wait. How about that game? Don't people have savings? Are you telling me that the average person doesn't have 500$ in the bank? Seriously, I don't know. Is that normal? I'd be losing my shit if my bank account was 3 digits. I've been there and it was my lowest and most stressful time of my life. I don't see how that can be the norm for anyone. |

The argument seems to be: Have no money in reserve, put things on a credit card that you find with 0% interest (because it's a game), pay something off later and hope you have the money for everything else you need. I'm clearly in the wrong here I guess. In my original post I was asking if people usually live by putting everything on a card when they don't have the cash to back it up. My question has been answered. |
