I was always under the belief that gnosticism and agnosticism were one and the same thing - ie. that if you were agnostic, then you prescribed yourself to that particular religion.

It looks as if I've gotten into the middle of something here. I was pointing out that I had observed a certain amount of shit stirring from you DWarrior both here and in other threads.

Yes, but the perception of shit stirring is a result of social awkwardness, not deliberate attempt to misinform.

In this particular case, "a" is the negating suffix, "theism" is belief in god, "gnosticism" is roughly religious knowledge. So atheism is "i don't believe in god", agnosticism is "i don't know". Pretty easy.

In any case, I've never been to an Atheist Club, I didn't even know these existed until KATG mentioned them. The only club-goers I know of are Chemda and her brother.
