Well, cmon. Playing the "I'm just doing my thing, too bad if people don't like it/don't get it" card isn't ever really an excuse, and this isn't the exception. Just as you have the "right" to derail a topic, stir stuff up, be confrontational, someone else has the right to say "knock it off shithead". You forfeit all ability to say "that's your problem" when you decide to start fucking with people, because, and there is a simple rule for this, when you decide to start fucking with people they have the right to fuck with you back. Whether or not people understand is immaterial, and it is most certainly not on them, as the person who decided to get shit going in the first place pretty much set the rules of the game, and now has to play by them like everyone else.

In part of this case D was trying to be a smartass, and Keith called him on it, so D tried to play the victim and act like Keith is an asshole for the way he did it, which is ridiculous. That's pretty much the same thing Dean did as well. Even in the quote you used, he admits he does some of this for "his own amusement", and then directs people to a place where he "did it successfully". He's pretty much unabashed about liking to go around the forums and poke at people, but if you do that at least understand that at some point people are going to call you on it, or much worse, and that in most cases you deserved it.

You don't have to explain anything, just don't be surprised when people react the way they do, and don't try to take some moral highground as if you're act of being a shithead had some artistic merit while their response was so crude.

I don't find D whiny, I think he makes needless confrontation out of things, and nitpicks his way into fights. I don't think Dean and Junk are incorrect when they say he's a shithead or shitstirrer, and it isn't rude to say so considering the way D approaches most conversations. Just go back and look at the post he made to Keith about the bet, and then the post right after where somehow Keith crossed a line for calling him on his bullshit. That's where I just roll my eyes, not on him arguing atheist v agnostic.

D is an intelligent debater with a smart brain but sometimes he likes to start stuff where it isnt needed and drops very cold, snarky answers that would be answered with a verbal bashing if they came from anyone who's less smart.

to simplify: if you took a sentence like "she better not come back and throw her vag around the forum", and put it under the signature fucko8901, there would be a mass reaction of "shut the fuck up". bvut if he does it, he gets a "oh well thts how he is".

Still i often agree with his points, but i have the feeling he enjoys so much to be an ass that said points get drown out by the snark. I still like to debate his points and read his posts, where, to name another example, Bob's pots are to me as interesting and valuable as doctorsleep's quest for vagina. actually the latter is somehow fun, the former is just annoying like a fucking gnat.
