To me Tig is just one of those female comics thats awkwardly quirky for the sake of being quirky. While Danny is a manchild and Marty is just a douche. As the show went on I think Tig got better as she got comfortable with Keith and Chemda's personalities. |

I suggest that people listen to Tig's podcast Professor Blastoff - i think it's funny, and it might give you a better sense of her rhythm.
Obviously i can't understand exactly what it was like for Keith and Chemda to try to interview her, and it was obviously hard - but i don't think that she was intentionally being difficult - she acted/sounded pretty much the same as anything i have ever seen/heard her do, even the same as when doing the podcast with two of her closest comedian friends. Also, i think everyones being a bit too hard on her - i thought the show was still really funny, we just didn't get to hear any personal stuff. I don't need every show to be personal, sometimes a more superficial funny show is fine. And i think Keith and Chemda did a great job adjusting to Tig, and i still thought it flowed pretty well. |

Why should it matter? I mean gay bi black white or TG shouldn't matter right? So Keith or Chemda speculating that Tig is TG should be innocuous as guessing what region of the country she was raised in or what her favorite color is. RIGHT? I mean that is how is supposed to be now. Right? Oh yeah, I dug that Jeff guy. I remember watching him on TV when I was a kid. He was Alex P. Keaton's Black Best Friend on "Family Ties". It's funny Chemda mentioned The Cosby Show because Jeff was a part of that unbeatable NBC Thursday Night Lineup right after Cosby (in the 80s). To me, Jeffrey being on the show was akin to KATG having Malcolm Jamal Warner, Justine Bateman, or Michael j. Fox on the show. Last edited by Andrea's toothbrush; 08-11-2011 at 11:41 PM. |
