Chemda, regarding the riots: as you said, the rational part of your brain shuts off, so in our everyday state we're not a very good judge of how we'd behave in that situation.

And we err on the side of "I wouldn't riot" not to make ourselves feel better about voting. It's kind of the opposite, our brain assumes we're decent people because otherwise we'd just curl up in a ball and cry. Even the most evil fucks think of themselves as do-gooders (terrorists view themselves as freedom fighters when they plant bombs in a school). So we walk around thinking we're great and kind, and thus naturally assume we wouldn't riot.

That's my psych 101 talk, maybe jacey.ATX knows more about these matters.

If it turns out US has secret detention camps where they lock up innocent civilians (not people who get off on technicalities), Keith can retroactively explain why he didn't move.

We gave up our home phone about a year ago but I did enjoy talking with telemarketers. They are not allowed to hang up so we would set the phone down right next to the tv and keep checking, the longest was one hour.

The only time I had a problem was when I tried to get off the phone with the VFW fund raising and they yelled at me to help out veterans and I had to put the little puke in place that I am a veteran and will give to who I want.

ADD: i agree with Chemda, what scares me is the person i sent the pics to hating me and using the pics against me, but honestly i have no shame. plus i could send pics too, so...

I'm a fucking idiot. I voted no when I definitely should have voted yes. I send them all the time to my husband, I've sent them to my girlfriends and I was a nude art model.

Regarding the gunner, I don't blame Chemda for being pissed at Keith's reaction. I'm glad that I can see the Gunner's twitter as that is the first thing I went to after I saw Keith's due to all of the false deaths twitter in general has reported. My husband even thought it. It was almost believable too because of the extra thing Keith in the twitter.

When I saw Keith retweet the Gunner message I tried to view his stream like the person who wrote in said to get confirmation but because his tweets are private I too had to wait for Chemda's follow-up that it wasn't true.

No Madoff?

I rarely get to watch the shows live on cam, so I often forget that anyone on the show can be doing something other than talking. I don't ever notice people eating, chewing, dropping things, or what not until Keith brings it up.
