yeah that was his take on westerns (and he was the first one to do it, others followed). his west was realistic, desperate, broken, with heroes coming that were real people, weathered, taken over by modern times and close to death.

and yet they all have one last shot to be glorious. and he shot the violence with the early, cool, first examples of slo-mo. he wanted to give the feeling you have when chaos is happenings where at times stuff goes fast but at times everything slows down and freezes.

He did also an interesting take on war with cross of iron, although it was a royally messed up movie. (back then producers were not as ruthless as today but didnt appreciate an alcoholic director who reacted at them by smashing stuff on their head)

Mike's voice is pretty nerdy, his podcast is called Nerd of Mouth though. I don't think he tells that many puns. Myq, however, is pretty funny with his word play.

Question What time of the day are episodes posted?

Listened to KATG years ago and stumbled back in yesterday.

For each date, when are the shows posted to iTunes?

I forget when they actually record the show . . . morning, afternoon, or night.

thanks in advance and the show is still as great as I remembered it.

Has anyone ever counted how many times Jesse says "Fuckin'" in each KATG episode?

Didn't someone make a clip of it once? Or was that Spooky?

they did Jesse's "like" and Spooky's "Fuckin" with their "best stories ever told".

true, though, jesse at times sounds like a new york gangster from a scorsese movie, minus the accent
