I used to have major problems with sticky keyboards too!

One thing that helps is to take the time to put some sort of protective cover on the keyboard before you proceed with humping the monitor. A little preventative maintenance goes a long way.

P.S. I heard a story a while back that said the typical computer keyboard has more germs than a toilet seat....
