We are still the only state that can legally fly it's flag at equal height to the US flag. The problem is if we secede, the US would sever all ties. Which I'm sure would bring Mexico to do what it could to get a dominate hand in the infrastructure.

I'm proud to be Minnesotan, but I don't know what I would do if my state decided to leave the union. If it merged with Canada, I'd be ok, but its own country? Not sure. I think Northern and Southern CA will split, too. And I think they SHOULD. |

81% of the jobs went to immigrants who recently arrived in the country. About half of them are here legally and half of them are not. But they aren't all illegal. The other issue that doesn't really get discussed is the fact that we're talking very low wage jobs that wouldn't produce much tax revenue anyway. Although one article I saw said that Texas doesn't have an income tax? Perry's Texas jobs boom mainly helped immigrants, study says | The Lookout - Yahoo! What if these protests were all started by the government? They can't unite our country with a war like they used to. So instead, they unite us by starting protests by the middle class. Then, they pass a legislation that looks good to us, so we think we accomplished something. We all gain faith in our government, just in time for a new administration.

I'm just giving a possible scenario. You're an idiot if you think there aren't already government plants at all the protests. Especially since reports came out yesterday of the DC protest charging into the senate offices, and a speaker at OWS saying that it's our right as free citizens to have sex with animals. There's obviously agents stirring up shit. So, is that their only role, or is it just part of the show and they're the real protagonists?

You understand that there's a difference between agents infiltrating a group (which happens all of the time) and the government manufacturing the entire thing, right? I rejected your first notion. Stop moving the goal posts. |

As in, this could be what is happening, OR this could be what is happening. I think I was pretty clear. I didn't change what I said about what could be happening. I repeated myself, and then offered the alternative. But, as I've said three times now, it's just a possibility. You can't discredit the possibility, because you don't fucking know. |
