Personally I like the idea of giving the middle east a big fuck you and using our own, clean and abundant fuels. Especially when it's currently only around $1.50 a gallon.
That this can even be a side of a coin...

$1.50 a gallon, and water will only be $2,000 a gallon.

I have the biggest crush on Tilda Swinton, my friend always makes fun of me for it, but damn there is just something about her. There was a scene with her in The Chronicles of Narnia, where she smacks Edmund then immediately apologizes and gives him treats to make up for it. HAWT. Or maybe I'm just a broken individual.

All About Fracking

Here's a link to the podcast Skeptoid on an episode called, All About Fracking. It's a short 10 minutes that goes into the details on Fracking and takes note of the film "Gasland". Like nearly all "documentaries" "Gasland" presents only one side and is designed to elicit an emotional response of the director's choosing.

I reject your notion that it's been done "without issue." There's been very little effort on the part of these companies to reduce their environmental impact. There are literally hundreds of chemicals being used in fracking fluids. They even fooled around with using nuclear explosives in the 60's and 70's under a project called Operation Plowshare, but ultimately found that people probably wouldn't want radiation contaminated natural gas being pumped into their homes.

There are also other potential hazards, including seismic activity being caused by both drilling and fracking (confirmed by the USGS) as well as air contamination by the venting of the sand silos, which releases all kinds of shit directly into the atmosphere.

Just wanted to say that I chuckled at all the captions for the show pics. Good work, whoever.

Also, there are other instances of water wells being contaminated, not just the Colorado case. A natural gas drilling company in Pennsylvania was recently ordered to pay a $900K settlement for contaminating the water wells of sixteen households with natural gas. And here is yet another picture of someone lighting a fire straight out of the faucet:

I picked I care on the poll even though my caring only lasts for about a week.

I had to do a paper on how a company works in college I choose Apple and found out the same information Keith did, it disturbed me, but then a couple of months later when my contract needed upgraded I got an iPhone, because androids are icky and what difference would it make?

When I saw Food Inc. I got paranoid and didn't eat for like a week because all food are evil, but it wore off and I was back to grocery store meats and McDonalds once in a while because all the alternatives are too expensive (though now I go to the local butcher cause it almost costs the same and the meat taste better)

I'm not proactive but it's always on my mind, so I guess I care

About the guy demanding his million for the laptop he found it is crazy that he'd ask for interest and it is most likely he was the one who stole it, because who finds laptops just laying around?

But if he didn't I think I could see taking the same route. I just imagine finding it, knowing about the deal, thinking it's legit, and them my mind would go crazy thinking about the bills I'd pay off with the money and what it'd buy to improve my life. It'd suck to have all these ideas and then just get nothing.

I said I Don't Care... because if I did start to care, I mean everything in my place would be thrown out, or would cost hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. Clothes I am wearing are being made in sub-par conditions, people that are making them are getting paid far below the minimum wage.

So why say "I care" when I will do nothing about it, because I am not giving up certain things, ie. cell phone, computer, Jersey Shore.
