I really think if your vote is in favor of the daughter, you should be required to post your age and sex. Also, you should have to post what percentage of your responses to invitations are "maybe".

My only concern is that destruction of property is a sign of abuse. That, and if you swear on your daughters public humiliation video...I don't think you get to be mad at her for swearing on facebook.

I'm SUCH a believer of starting off as a good parent and being consistent, and your kids will grow up to be good kids. But I'm also a believer that if your kid gets snotty and out of control and has no respect for her, you TAKE THE POWER BACK!

Correction on the Apple stuff. They aren't actually Apple employees in the factories in China. They work for independent companies (such as the Chinese company FoxConn) who Apple just contracts with for manufacturing. Since they are Chinese companies in China, they aren't governed by US labor laws. Since Apple is just their customer, there are limits to what they can do (they can't sue these companies in Chinese court since Chinese labor laws are being complied with). All Apple can do is stop using these manufacturers (and they are exploring other manufacturers in other countries). Of course, if they stop using these cheap manufacturers then costs will go up for their products. If these protesters really wanted to help these workers, they would offer to pay double for their consumer electronics.

Public embarassment is worse than death in a teenagers mind - so I dont think this is such a good parenting stradegy. But it was fun to watch.

Yeah, but there's an update from the dad. When he told everything he had done to his daughter and about the video, she didn't take it too bad. So maybe it wasn't. For her at least.
