Keith is right. I been noticing this latey. I was surpised that Keith said something. I thought Something was going on behind the scenes. On the last Katg week. Me and a few other KATGers have a convo about this. I hope what ever is going on will be fix. Still a great show.

I think it was a few weeks ago when Chemda started getting really aggressive about little things. I didn't say anything 'cause I thought there was something going on again like the book deal contract.

Sorry, Chemda. I love you and all that, but I have to answer definitely yes on the poll.

I think the vacation will be a good thing. You'll both come back raring to go!

I voted No. I think Chemda was placed into some interesting positions. She has been IMO sensitive and defensive on things. Perhaps for good reason? But to me KATG(or in this situation just TG?) has been WAAAY more confrontational before for less. Maybe my confrontatio-dar isn't working. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know her personally and am taking her face value. She says jokes were part of this. I'll buy it. Certainly not all of the "times" were jokes. If I'm a piece of shit, I hope the vacation helps if there is an issue. As a fuck stick ex-boss once told me. FINISH STRONG! Ahem.

Hilarious news anchor story too.

I don't know if it's so much as Chemda being upset at Keith, but Chemda seems a lot more opinionated and passionate. I wonder if her relationship with Lauren has made her a stronger person having to deal with negativities she's experienced in public against her and Lauren.

Or she's jealous of Keith's engagement

Hehehe. Face and I were talking about the "heat wave" in NYC. When I told him it was 107 here on Thursday (this week is supposed to "cool down" quite a bit), he admitted he didn't have it so bad.

PS- I had a dream last night that I was gonna be on KATG and I was really upset because they said I couldn't bring my cat.

It's important to remember that there aren't really sides in this case. Keith is feeling hurt by some of the things Chemda says to him, and she's doing her best to understand why he feels that way and to bridge the gap in communication. Nobody has to win or lose.

That said, I don't think Chemda is in the wrong. Keith can sometimes come off as dismissive of opinions that conflict with his own, and Chemda's opinions differ from Keith's much more than they used to. When she disagrees, Keith tends to shoot her down before she's made herself understood. Rather than give up, she hardens and fights back.

Of course Keith is open to other people's opinions, but his initial reaction is to fight for his beliefs, and that's admirable as long as he knows how he sounds and how he affects people. Chemda used to be mostly either agreeable or passive, but she's becoming more of a fighter herself which goes against what people expect of her. Yes, some of what she says is barbed, but that's the nature of the show. She's taking her rightful place as the equally-dominant co-host of KATG. She's not Robin Quivers, she's The Girl.

Chemda does get very defensive of her friends. That is a good quality in a friend. When Kieth is being negative about one, she takes everything he says about them with a negative spin.

But her friend might seem like a great guy, but if he doesn't want to have that label, he shouldn't be making that magazine. If he did a magazine about how to protect yourself against the shit he used to do, that would be different. If you do something to "be provocative" and then get all upset because people get provoked, you're a fucktard.

If Jerry Sandusky comes out of prison being really nice and writes a book on how to molest kids, should his friends defend him?

Before we get into the kerfuffle I want to say that I loved discovering Janine on this episode - especially her laugh. I feel like I could listen to her joking around for hours.

Also that I'm 600% stoked to hear that McNally is finally getting his shit together to come down and make that KATG documentary he's been on about for-fucking-ever. I love McNally, I love KATG, I love that they're getting back into bed together in McNally's beloved NYC.

As for the kerfuffle, Lucas already said it real well -

Chemda doesn't bust Keith's balls any more than he busts her lips. If anything the poll is the wrong way round. It's not Chemda getting more upset with what Keith says lately, it's Keith getting more upset with what Chemda says. To me her teasing always comes across as playful but Keith somehow feels like she's harboring some real resentment. I don't know why but it's probably something to do with the fact that, as his own fiance once said on the show, he's a drama queen.

And I have to say also, anyone who can't understand why Chemda would so strongly defend her own intelligence and judgement in regards to her housemate and close friend Johnny just doesn't pay enough attention. "Would you trust Johnny to be alone with a young relative" is an understandable question, but her strong response was equally understandable. It's weird that people think that Chemda acted weird on that one.
