Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Tim said that he and this girl had, had sex twice before that “first date.” Anyone of those two times they hooked up initially would have been a more appropriate time, or maybe even at the very end of the first date, if for no other reason than to avoid an awkward rest of the evening. At the same time, however, they did hook up the first night they met and once again after that. If I were this woman I would have assume that Tim is mainly looking for a sexual thing or at the very least is okay with the idea of a “just sex“ relationship. Especially if sex happened more than once, before we got a chance to really just go out on a date. With that in mind she probably thought her dating situation wasn’t going to be a big issue, and that Tim was probably also dating other people and it wouldn’t be a big deal bringing it all up whenever. I think Chemda is right and that given all the circumstances presented, she could have brought it up whenever she wanted. I’m willing to bet that Tim didn’t clearly state to her that he wasn’t into the idea of it just being sex, and unless there was a potential for a relationship… “no thanks”. If that were the case then she would have been 100% in the wrong. But that’s not what happened.
I also think Keith is right to a certain extent, I don’t think her agreeing to go on the date was her just trying to get a free movie ticket or anything other than; “hey why not catch a movie with this dude that I enjoy fucking.” But I do agree with Keith that this woman should have told Tim her dating situation, before the first date, or better yet, before the second time they fucked. |

The "all you can eat buffet" story is exactly like this Simpsons episode where Homer sues The Frying Dutchman after they throw him out at closing time - Simpsons: Homer vs The Frying Dutchman | MilkandCookies

Neither are right. Tim is, to quote Keith, "a brick" for being a grown man who doesn't know how dating works.
The girl was probably smart enough to understand how dating works but not smart enough to realise that Tim is "a brick" who doesn't understand how dating works. We also know that she is, to quote someone who uses the term "flake", "a flake" for telling Tim there would be no booty calls and then booty-calling him. So we know they're both messes. Therefore in the question of the timing of when the girl had to explain to a grown man how dating works WHILE ON A DATE, we know that Tim was wrong but we can also assume from what we know of her from the booty call stories that the girl was also wrong. There are no winners. Not even Tim for getting the booty calls he didn't enjoy. |
