I was actually having the "Women getting older' conversation with my dad not too long ago, and we came to the conclusion that no one wants to fuck and old women; unless she's loaded, in which case you're just fucking the money.

But, young women will fuck old men.

Most of you know what I look like. I got the young face. Always have. At 27, I'll still get the occasional "What grade are you in?" Most days I just take the compliment, some days I wish I looked at least enough to make people in my field take me more seriously; I'm a brilliant powerful woman, not an intern. It causes me to be overlooked.

One day I will not look 18. I know this intellectually, but all the same I don't know what it's going to do to my identity when it happens. The skin on the back of my hands is showing wear; I'm a craftsperson, professional hazard. My vagina, while still incredibly stunning, is darker and less taught in places. My face will age soon and while I'd like to think a graceful entrance into the middle is achievable, chances are, at least behind closed doors, I'll mourn a great while.

I LOVE the conversation about women and beauty and aging. Chemda is SO articulate and spot-on. I'm turning 30 this year and this hit a soft spot for me. When Chemda said, "I hope I'm not afraid to look in the mirror when I get older", I shuddered. Been there, but I think it's also kind of a good thing if you learn to look past appearance a bit and just be yourself. I used to be anxious about every little aspect of my looks, how I walked etc. and as I get older I learn to think about all of that a bit less and actually get along better with people for it. I guess I'll be a wrinkly old bag eventually, but I'll be happy as long as I'm a wrinkly old bag with personality.

Loving the shows, great guests and many laugh out loud moments.
