Because if you really think that, then I'm even more in. That would be incredibly funny to see. |

I don't know, I don't live in New York so I don't really care. History would tell us its more expensive than one would imagine. My point was that whatever it costs the money would be more effective if put into educating people rather than slapping the wrists of tax paying businesses.

NY Mayor Bloomberg Follows Soda Ban With…National Donut Day? | Mediaite
Today Bloomberg celebrates "National Donut Day," featuring a giant box of Entemann's donuts with donuts that are one foot in diameter. C'mon, it's funny! |

In January I gave up drinking pop for New Years (and haven't gone back... longest New Years resolution ever). I drank diet pop exclusively, usually at least 2 cans a day.
I immidiately dropped ten pounds, without altering anything else about my diet |

My dad would get free sodas as part of his allowance as captain of a fishing vessel and he always brought them home for me during that time when I was a teen. I picked up an enormous amount of weight from that alone and then it melted off as soon as the sodas stopped.
I think people really need to be educated about what's being put into "food" in general nowadays. Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution in American schools has been a great start. |

"Natural Flavouring" used in Raspberry snacks and juices has an ingredient that is extracted from Beaver anal glands.
I'm not even kidding. And they don't have to say that on the label because it falls under the term "natural" |
