Keith dreams - Misconception
I voted no to Keith fighting his bully. I mean it's too late in the game and wouldn't solve anything, unless the bully threw the first punch. But if you do fight him in a boxing ring you can have Joe Rogan and Cat do the announcing. That way when Joe touches her it will give you extra incentive to punch him harder. Good thing I saved my money and didn't see Rock of Ages. Last edited by WSEIII; 06-25-2012 at 10:42 PM. Reason: spelling |

People like to see shows like 'Glee' on TV, for free. They don't want to pay to see that shit at the movies. The 'Glee' movie bombed at the box office, worse than 'Rock of Ages'.
Oh yeah, Kyle was totally rude for showing up at midnight, and I am glad you called him out on the air about it. |

He was not convicted of the incident in the shower that was witnessed by that assistant coach. Apparently it doesn't count if the witness doesn't actually see penetration occurring and the rapist is only seen showering with his child victim. |

I loved Rock of Ages when they took it on tour. I took my family (50 something year old parents and 30ish Sister and BIL) as a Christmas gift and my dad loved it the MOST, and he's not into musicals. But I kind of feel like if they are going to turn a Broadway show into a movie, especially one that does not have original songs, they should use a Broadway cast. I don't know, something about the two levels of disconnect? Like, it's kind of OK to put Zeta-Jones in the Chicago movie, but there's something weird about this one.
I don't know, I will probably see it eventually anyway because I'm an unapologetic modern musical nerd, and yes, I watch Glee and Smash even though I would never watch either, based on plot, without the music. My favorite karaoke song is All That Jazz, additionally, I tried to turn the KATG chat room into a musical. So you know, you probably shouldn't take my opinion seriously. |

Who is the the target audience for "Rock of Ages"? Keith and I love this music, but we dislike Broadway style shows. In general, those who love Broadway shows dislike 80s rock. Children of the late 70s and early 80s are approaching 40 now, and we're not (in general) big movie goers to begin with.
