Door suggestion
Keith and chemda. As a contractor I reccomend looking up a specialized window and door service or registered construction contractor on Angie's list. Done properly you should never need to meet them anywhere but the studio. Make sure they do residential work.

Mountain KatG: Can You Imagine?
I would love for Keith and Chemda to experience customer service in Montana. I realize people are guilty of douche-baggery all over, but people are genuinely nice here. A shaved head, no sleeves, and white skin seems to get priority around here... wait a minute... Now that I think about it...should I be suspicious of this? Nah. I'm sure everyone, everywhere is white, attends church, and votes for Sarah Palin. Montucky!

2 ways you can tell that La La Lemon is really, really sexy. 1) Her avatar gives you a boner, (she's so hot that when she sent a photo to Josh Latta, he was like, well nothing to embelish or make fun of here. 2) Only real hotties say insanely stupid shit such as 'Batman is Stupid." Although, if this is in reference to the latest movie - I concur.

I think we can all agree that it is a movie, and most movies are dumb and dissapointing. Keith tends to ruin movies for me anyway. When I saw The Dark Knight for the first time, I really loved it. Considering I don't get into superhero movies at all, that's saying a lot. Then I heard Keith rip it apart during the show and point out all funny business, gaping plot holes, etc...Now I can't watch it without Keith's commentary running in the back of my head so naturally I don't need to see the latest movie to know that it is indeed stupid. Thanks to Keith for helping me not waste 3 hrs and $10.

The best thing about these discussions is always Chemda sitting back and laughing at people who try to make sense of the way Keith relates to movies.
The answer to "Why do some people just accept these movie plotholes and still have fun with imperfect movies?" has to do with the fact that, nerd or not, some people have the ability to suspend disbelief more than others. Chemda's threshold is so wound back she can't even go along with absurd comedies like Bridesmaids and only watches reality tv and cooking shows. Keith's is somewhere in an loopy, irrational no-man's land, where he's fine with accepting a doctor is so dumb that he can't tell that he's died and become [SPOILERS] a ghost, but he can't accept that a ninja genius who knows the place like the back of his hand can somehow find a way back into Gotham after he climbs out of the [SPOILERS] Banehole. And c'mon with pretending Inception and Memento made 100% sense. Those are entertaining enough movies but they have [SPOILERS] narrative problems of their own. |

There's plenty of plotholes in movies like Step Up and other dance movies. |

That's how I feel with TDKR. I definitely have issues with it (Bane's death was anti-climactic, didn't need Marian Cotillard, Alfred was out of the movie for most of it, Catwoman was put in the background for a bunch of it, etc), but I enjoyed it. It's not my Batman, but I enjoy what the director was attempting to do, even if he ultimately missed (don't use a rope next time... inside joke, hi-yooo) |
