Wrong way of looking at it. You are making a CHOICE. Just like you can say I like Burger King more than McDonald's, you can also say, "this business invests in <flavor of the month>, I'm not taking my business here." A business does not have to serve you. You don't have to frequent a business. Choice.

They can operate a business. If their political, social, economic, stances make you want to walk away from them, and enough people do it, they can continue to operate that business for as long as they want. If they start losing money, they can continue to operate as long as they're okay with the hemorrhaging of money that's taking place.

If I walk into a business and shout, "black people only eat watermelon. Why are they in this hamburger place?" The management can decide to tell me to leave. If a business owner says, "I'm against gay marriage," I can decide not to go there.

Choice.

I know the USA is number 1 and all, but it's really nice to be able to go to the doctor without having to sell my car.

You would be philosophically consistent if you boycotted their opinion for being stupid while at the same time defended to the death their right to express their opinion. Though I imagine you wouldn't be very effective on either front.

I don't really have a C-F-A nearby, so I'm not put to the test. But my college had a CFA in the food court, so it must suck to be there now.

I thought it was interesting to hear that all religious people are racists, and all Christians are bigots.

I wonder if another person's bigotry is always worse than your own? ^_^
