I loved Ben, he was funny and that line about his miss spelled tattoo reminded me of one of my exes who had a tattoo that said "Koy girl" not "Coy Girl". I laughed like a complete fool.

I still have the rulebook that they give all of the missionaries when they leave on their missions. A lot of the rules have no explanations, apparently the no holding kids rule is because some missionaries in the past have gotten in trouble for kid touching, and the Mormon church doesn't even want the slightest chance of anything like that happening.

It seemed like a mutual thing, rather than a preventative rule pertaining only to men. It seemed like a supposed way to prevent adultery and not a way to prevent rape. That doesn't change how dumb the rule is, but if adultery is a big enough sin to be one of the ten commandments, then I wouldn't be surprised by such a level of caution.
There's no rule about it, there are a few church leaders who include it as an example when they say to avoid situations that could lead to sin. By sin they mean adultery or per-marital sex. It's generally only mentioned in lists provided to kids in high school along with things like "don't make out while in high school" "avoid laying down next to each other" and other sorts of things that tend to lead two horny people to having sex.

Outside of Honey Boo-Boo and Hitler, I don't see how this wouldn't be the worst.
Also, great guest.

This show was so great I listened to it twice and made my boyfriend listen to it too. Ben Roy is a great guest, funny, witty and smart. Hope he comes on the show again!

It was nice to hear some of the old Maine colloquialisms that I haven't heard in a while. He was a great guest. Ben, don't worry I think the KATG Hive-Mind has accepted you.

Loved hearing Ben's side of JFod's latest adventure too.
Was it Legion from the chat that Joe was firing back at? I remember the moment but I can't remember who the guest was that was talking while Legion was making comments in the chat. I remember him calling him Legion but pronouncing it "lesion" and calling it apropos.

And I think Ben was a great guest. A good way to get back on track after Bonnie and Rich.
