The problem with it is that iTunes has most of the users. So if a user can't torrent through iTunes, only about 5% of people who download the show will actually use the torrent. It amazes me that KATG has 500,000 listeners and has to PAY money to reach them. Most small media producers would kill for that audience.

Perhaps you should look into what the Penny Arcade guys did: hire a business manager to take all that shit off your hands. Sounds like one of Chemda's brothers might be good for that.

The 500,000 figure always seemed inflated to me. More people would be on the boards i reckon if 500,000 people were listening. I wouldn't be more surprised if they had 500,000 downloads total.

The figures on this seem a little shaky. Why libsyn don't record this type of shit is beyond me. Another reason why libsyn sucks.
