Keith, just think of it this way... Which will be less hassel. The thing you've been using your whole life, or some new technology that you will have to deal with. Plus, using a projector isn't buying a projector, you will probably need to paint a wall or buy a screen, so some of the cost break is lost. as mentioned earlier, the bulb on a projector would need to be replaced from time-to-time. random ones i looked at had a few thousand hours life, and the replacement cost about $300.
2000 hours, for example, can be two years if you watch a movie everyday.
