That foam futon thing Danny sleeps on… I assume it folds up into a chair shape, and opens flat to sleep on… Am I the only one who calls that a "Flip n' Fuck?"

I voted for Keith.
I know there was a lot of talk about affording a mattress but from what I heard this wasn't the issue. It sounded to me like Keith was saying if he knew Danny was sleeping on the floor he would have found him SOMETHING to sleep on by either giving him an air matters or tons of foam that they apparently have lying around for some reason. The argument Chemda was making about having other priorities for his money doesn't seem to fit into the conversation to me since Keith was, to me, clearly saying he would have found a way to get Danny something to sleep on. This to me says that it could very well have been free for Danny. Also a lot of people mentioning liking sleeping on the floor, Danny clearly said in the episode that he was sore from it and much reference sleeping on a mattress so clearly it wasn't a preference choice. |

Anyone who sleeps on the floor by choice is a fucking idiot.
CAVEAT!!!! short term back problems (e.g. slipped disc) aside. And Danny, if you want the "gritty NYC experience" how about on the way to the mattress store, you lick a subway platform. I bet they're gritty. You fucking twat. |

If all you took away from that whole conversation is that I seriously chose to sleep on the floor because I wanted "the gritty New York experience," you're stupider than I thought and I didn't think too highly of you to begin with.

I don't understand why the poll is so close. Sleeping on a mattress is one of the basic tenets of being a human. And let's be real about pursuing your dream vs. owning a mattress. They're not mutually exclusive things.
Brand new mattresses can be cheap, especially twin size. You can even buy a used one if you don't have the $100 or so it costs to buy a new one. Places like Goodwill sell them used - clean and disinfected with a plastic sheet - for like $20. |
