About the comment on "A History of Violence" - I think the sex scenes actually DO serve a purpose (unlike some other films). How they lead up to sex, and what happens during the sex changes from the beginning of the film to the end, and it ties in with the violence theme. Although the 69 part was surprising in a R-rated film.

Also, I disagree with the violence for "no reason". Again, the violence speaks to our society and how violence shapes each of us.

The actress who played Stern's wife in Private Parts is Mary McCormack. She's not in A History of Violence. I knew her in college so when you mentioned the oral sex scene I had to check. That would have been hilarious.

If the woman in the sex scenes is Maria Bello, then I can understand the confusion. They do look similar.

Haven't seen it yet, but I'll be sure to now.

Yeah, if you're going to show someone being shot, show it how it really is. It's not pretty. People do gurgle and shit before they die. The baddies don't just fall over dead and the goodies don't get to tell their buddies they love them before peacefully passing away...

I love it when Keith and Chemda get bad food. Someone needs to make best of shows for when they're busy or something. Themes like bad food, keith's history of fapping, etc
